The integrated control room provides quick and accurate information to the users by constructing a large-screen multi-display system that can handle failure and service of various data and information on the related network without interruption of the system 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which will provide more advanced service support.
The ultimate purpose is to build an optimized system by improving the competitiveness of the information technology through the establishment of an infrastructure failure monitoring and alarm system for detecting symptoms early and providing services without interruption.
The purpose of this project is to provide more efficient highway traffic management by building additional monitors, replacing the deteriorated LCDs and DLP cubes, and improving the traffic management operation contents and scenarios, to address the shortage of monitoring screens for traffic management at the current traffic center due to the increase in the management areas following the opening of the new highways.

As the paradigm of crisis response has changed since the ’15 MERS incident, the need for a “control tower during infectious-disease crises” for the central authority of national epidemic prevention, Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has increased.
The emergency control room newly built through the project, which is equipped with an information display system, a video conference system, and a special environment for responding to various situations, will effectively support the roles of the emergency control center, including the steady monitoring of infectious diseases, scientific analysis of infectious disease outbreaks, quickly responding in the disease outbreak area, and systematic command over and control of crisis situations.
Moreover, the advanced construction of a network operation environment, which can be used in conjunction with the SW and HW in the development (separate project) of a computerized system (infectious-disease risk management module) to support all the stages (acknowledgement-analysis-dissemination-management) of infectious disease risk management, is needed.

The purpose of this project (i.e., to improve the old traffic situation board system established in Gwacheon Government Complex in 2006) is to improve the prerequisites (e.g., the relevant facilities and installation environment) and to provide more efficient traffic management by building a dashboard with the latest specifications for the integrated traffic control of roads, railways, and air compliant with the stature* of the top national traffic information center as well as a smart accident/disaster reporting system using IoT, and by developing a data visualization system capable of displaying publicly available public transport data as well as the data and big-data analysis results shared and linked with the national traffic information center.
