Human Rights Management

WeMB actively practices human rights management that emphasizes human dignity and value in all business activities, fulfills its social responsibilities, and pursues sustainable development together with its stakeholders.

The Charter of Human Rights Management

  • We shall respect and support international standards and norms on human rights, such as the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
  • We shall prevent human rights violations in advance, and strive to provide active relief.
  • We shall not discriminate in hiring or treatment of stakeholders, including executives and employees, on the grounds of race, nationality, gender, education, region, political orientation, or disability. ​
  • We shall not allow any form of forced labor or child labor.
  • We shall promote occupational safety and health by providing safe and healthy working conditions.
  • We shall strive for mutual growth with our partner companies, and support and cooperate in practicing human rights management.
  • We shall comply with domestic and international environmental laws, strive to protect the environment, and prevent pollution.
  • We shall strive to avoid endangering the safety of the public when conducting business, and protect personal information collected in the course of our work.
