Background

The new data center enabled the establishment of an integrated monitoring system for numerous IT equipment and major facilities, such as power, air conditioning, fire, and security, within the data center.

Details

The project sought to improve system availability through convergence between IT and the infrastructure within the center. By using digital twin technology, it modeled buildings, floors, and physical equipment in 3D for IT equipment and facilities, implemented the integrated management of IT and facility resources, and facilitated IoT conference room/room management and intelligent congestion measurement. It also improved the work environment within the IT center to ensure energy efficiency by implementing IoT cold air leakage management, power management by IT resource, computer room temperature/cold map, and smart air quality management.
